The Wendy Williams Show Is Back; Kicks Off On Labor Day. The Wendy Williams Show has been renewed for a second season. The show will premiere on Labor Day, Monday, September 6. Filmed live in New York, The Wendy Williams Show covers a mix of hot topics, celebrity news and interviews, fashion, cooking and real-life advice with a wide range of guests in addition to a bit of ridiculousness that audiences have come to expect from host Wendy Williams – and that some other show hosts make fun of her for, for example, Joel McHale of E!’s The Soup. Also new for the second season is a brand new sophisticated studio setting, allowing viewers to see the show from a new perspective as Wendy will continue to interview celebrity guests while overlooking the New York City skyline.
