After watching him for years on “Lost,” it sounds like we don’t know Jack. Matthew Fox has been accused of assaulting a 29-year-old woman and was detained by cops in Cleveland, Ohio.
According to TMZ, who spoke with the victim, Fox was trying to enter a party bus which he was not a guest of. The victim, Heather Bormann, was driving the bus when she told him that he had to leave and was “trespassing” on the privately rented bus.
A clearly inebriated Fox was said to just be staring at her, mouth wide open as she blocked the entrance. That’s when the 45-year-old star leaned in and started punching her crotch, breast, and stomach area.
But Bormann fought back. She punched him in his mouth in self-defense, causing a cut on his lip. “I took one hand to his jaw and he was spitting blood. He stumbled backwards,” Bormann told TMZ.
Fox was detained by police where he was released. He wasn’t formally arrested but the incident is still under investigation.
Bormann, who suspected that she may have broken her hand following the punch, is planning to meet with prosecutors and plans to press charges.
Lindsay Lohan is doing some damage control on her image and she’s not letting a damaging reference to her on a hit song slide. She’s suing rapper Pitbull over his #1 single “Give Me Everything.”
According to TMZ, Lohan is suing over the line where Pitbull references her legal troubles, rapping, “I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.”
Lohan claims in the lawsuit that “the lyrics, by virtue of its wide appeal, condemnation, excoriation, disparaging or defamatory statements by the defendants about the plaintiff are destined to do irreparable harm to the plaintiff.”
The song was released back in March and topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart in June. It’s remained in the top 10 since and has sold over 2 million copies.
“Give Me Everything” also features Ne-Yo and Afrojack, who are also named defendants in the lawsuit.
Lindsay isn’t exactly asking Pitbull to “Give Me Everything” as far as money goes. She just wants to stop all broadcasting of the song, which will definitely be hard to do. It’s currently one of the biggest songs at radio and Pitbull and Ne-Yo are even scheduled to perform the track at next week’s MTV “Video Music Awards.”
In the lawsuit, filed by Stephanie Ovadia (who also helped with the Linsday’s E*TRADE ad lawsuit), Lindsay says she’s “suing under the New York civil rights laws, which protects people from having their name exploited for commercial purposes.”
Nine days after Maria Shriver filed for divorce from Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former television journalist has bought a $10 million mansion in an exclusive neighborhood in Brentwood, California, reports TMZ.
The 11,000 square feet home, which is not too far from where O.J. Simpson lived, is undergoing a complete makeover.
According to pictures obtained by TMZ from inside the vacant mansion, the palatial pad has eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a three-car garage, gym, theater and wine room
But the pictures of dust-filled rooms, and empty pool and unfinished carpentry leave a lot to be desired.
The complete renovation is expected to be done in three months.
According to the divorce petition, Shriver cited “irreconcilable differences” as her reason for ending the 25-year marriage.
She is asking for joint custody of their minor children, Patrick, 17, and 13-year-old Christopher.
The filing comes months after the former California governor and one-time action star revealed he had fathered a child out of wedlock with a member of his household staff years ago.
Charlie Sheen may not be wanted back on the set of “Two and a Half Men,” but the troubled star is in “deep negotiations” to star in a new sitcom. According to TMZ, the 45-year-old actor is reportedly in talks to sign a deal to appear in a new series by the end of the week.
It is not yet known the name of the new show.
The celebrity website reports that the sitcom is being “written specifically around Charlie” and would go straight to series without featuring a pilot episode.
Sheen was fired from “Two and a Half Men” and replaced by Ashton Kutcher after a public fight with its creator Chuck Lorre, which also sparked a media frenzy surrounding the actor’s personal life and supposed drug use.
The actor’s former co-star Jon Cryer, who plays his brother Alan Harper in the show, recently revealed that the cast of the show was initially unsure if the show would continue without Sheen.
“I love him, he’s a great friend. All of us, none of us wanted to continue with the show if we felt like it was hurting him, and there was a point at which, we felt like, there’s no control over him,” Cryer said to People magazine.
Sheen’s “Two and a Half Men” character Charlie Harper is set to be written out of the show by moving to Paris.
While CBS executives have not announced how Kutcher would be integrated into the show, the 33-year-old actor said he’s anxious to get started.
“I can’t wait to get to work with this ridiculously talented 2.5 team and I believe we can fill the stage with laughter that will echo in viewers’ homes,” Kutcher has said in a statement. “I can’t replace Charlie Sheen but I’m going to work my ass off to entertain the hell out of people!”

In 2009, Whitney confessed to being a cocaine addict herself in TV interview with Oprah Winfrey and admitted her and her ex-husband Bobby Brown’s drug use spiraled out of control after she starred in hit movie ‘The Bodyguard’ in 1992.
She said: “Me and Bobby were lacing our marijuana with base. We would buy a kilo. We were not pipe smoking.
“You roll it up and you smoke it in your weed. It’s almost like heroin cocaine speedballs but you level it off with marijuana.”
Earlier this year, Whitney and Bobby’s daughter Bobbi Kristina, 18, was accused of being a cocaine addict by a former boyfriend but denied his claims.
Members of Bieber’s touring crew have refused to show up to his Japanese shows for fear of being irradiated. TMZ reports that many members of the crew have ‘flat out refused’ to work on Bieber’s two shows in Japan at the end of the month due to fears of radiation fallout and another earthquake.
They report that the crew have used the example of Slash and Avril Lavigne’s Japanese show cancellations, although Maroon 5 are still going ahead with their tour.
Ke$ha and Anthrax postponed their Japanese tours, Jack Johnson and Spiritual Beggars cancelled, yet Herbie Hancock seems to be ploughing ahead.
Apparently, Bieber’s Japanese shows are now in jeopardy because the crew and management have reached a stalemate.
Oksana Grigorieva has dropped her domestic violence case against baby daddy Mel Gibson. The Russian singer has surprised the “Mad Max” star’s legal team when her lawyer announced to court that she is no longer pursuing the case.
According to TMZ, Dan Horowitz, her lawyer, announced to Judge Scott Gordon Wednesday that they are no longer pursuing the claim that the actor’s alleged violence against her is reason to change the previous custody order.
The judge and Mel’s lawyer Stephen Kolodny were shocked at the new development.
Apparently, the move is Oksana’s way of extending an olive branch to settle their custody case.
With the case dropped, the protective order that prohibits Mel from contacting or harassing her has also been terminated. TMZ sources added that Oksana would now want to communicate directly with her ex-fiancé rather than use lawyers to do so.
It’s still not known if Oksana will continue her civil lawsuit against Mel.
Newly-introduced “16 and Pregnant” star Jamie McKay has filed papers to ask a judge for the sole custody of her daughter, citing her baby daddy’s drug addiction problems. The reality TV teen mom claims Ryan McElrath is not fit to take care of their 7-month-old daughter because he has a history of cocaine abuse. The paper, obtained by TMZ, reads that McKay is asking for the sole custody of Mia Christine McElrath, who was born in October of last year.
She claims that McElrath “is not responsible and is not in a position to provide a stable environment for the minor child at this time” and that he has a “history of alcohol/drug abuse and criminal activity.”
She also mentioned that her baby daddy has a history of “driving under the influence of alcohol and driving recklessly” and cocaine use. She also thinks that McElrath has continued the activity even after Mia’s birth.
McKay wants the care, custody, and control of Mia, and that McElrath be allowed only supervised visitation. The reality TV personality also wants the judge to order McElrath to complete a parenting class and to submit to appropriate drug and alcohol assessments and testing.
But for McElrath, McKay only filed the papers to “cause problems. It will clear out in court,” he told TMZ.
They are scheduled to appear in court on June 13.
