“Shrek” Still Rules Box Office; “Greek,” “Killers” Place 2nd And 3rd. Not even the “Killers” and Aldous Snow can overthrow Shrek’s rule in the box office. The Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher-starrer and Russell Brand’s “Get Him to the Greek” were no match for “Shrek Forever After” at the weekend box office. ”Get Him to the Greek” bowed down in second place with a $17.3 million haul, while the “Killers” opened at third with $16.1 million. The first place still belongs to Shrek’s fourth installment, which managed to add another $25.3 million to its haul, making its overall gross total to $183 million after three weeks. The other new releases, the canine-themed “Marmaduke” and the sci-fi thriller “Splice,” were at 6th and 8th place with $11.3 million and $7.5 million respectively.
