The public so over "Sex And The City 2"

“Sex And The City 2″ Disappoints At The Weekend Box Office. Is the public so over Carrie and the girls?¬† The overly hyped and excessively photoshopped “Sex and the City 2″ not only got brutal reviews from critics, it also underwhelmed at the box office during the Memorial Day weekend.¬†Although it grossed $32.1 million during the weekend, compared to its 2008 predecessor, “SATC 2″ was a disappointment at the box office. It shouldn’t come as a surprise, though, as majority of the critics gave the Sarah Jessica Parker-led sequel scathing reviews. Another newcomer is the Jake Gyllenhaal-starrer “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” which underperformed at third place with $30,170 gross. Shrek and the gang still hold the top spot with $42.3 million from Friday to Sunday.
