After Lindsay Lohan’s ex Samantha Ronson, well, pulled a Lindsay last week, she’s been formally charged with drunk driving.
33-year-old Ronson was arrested last week in the California desert after she “displayed signs of alcohol intoxication” and failed the field sobriety tests.
The celebrity DJ was pulled over on the morning of August 2nd, where she was clocked going 89 mph in a 70 mph zone. She was booked in the Barstow Sheriff’s office, where she took her widely-seen smirking mugshot.
According to the Los Angeles Times, she now faces two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and having a blood-alcohol level of .08 or above.
If convicted, Ronson faces a maximum sentence of 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
Lindsay Lohan’s Ex-Girlfriend Samantha Ronson Not Happy About Next Door Move-In. Lindsay Lohan may be getting over her drug addiction problem, but she needs to get over her ex-girlfriend, Samantha Ronson. After getting released from rehab, the recovering starlet has moved into a Venice, CA pad that is conveniently located right next door to the DJ. Ronson was none too happy when she learned that Lohan, whom she dated on and off from 2008 to 2009, has moved into an apartment that is literally just a few steps from hers. When she tried to get out of her own pad, photographers asked Ronson how she feels about her ex moving in next door. Ronson was saying, “Trust me, it wasn’t planned… Dude, I’m way too pissed off right now.” Meanwhile, Lohan is reportedly in danger of facing a possible probation violation. The Riverside County District Attorney believes that she violated her probation when she had a physical altercation with a staff member at the Betty Ford Center. Staffer Dawn Holland revealed that she got into a physical fight with Lindsay when the troubled actress allegedly pushed her hard last month. She decided not to press charges, but the police says the case will still be submitted to the DA. If the judge handling her case thinks she violated her probation, she cold go to jail, according to our source.
Soon-To-Be Divorcee Christina Aguilera Had “Open Relationship”. Christina Aguilera had an open marriage with soon-to-be ex-husband Jordan Bratman, it has been claimed. The pop star apparently lusts for women even when she was with the record executive. Aguilera has filed for divorce from Bratman after almost five years of marriage last week. She specified September 11 as the date of their separation. They share a 2-year-old son named Max. And while the couple remains mum on the reason for their split, a source told us it may be caused by Bratman’s jealousy over Aguilera’s lust for the same sex. A woman who wishes to remain anonymous told the website, “I was at The Abbey one night when Christina’s bodyguard approached me. He said, ‘My boss would really like you’ and pointed over to Christina.” Aguilera waved to her while Bratman was at the bar with her. “The bodyguard told me it was an understanding within their marriage and that she brings girls home and Jordan’s okay with it.” When the source met with the singer in the bathroom, Aguilera told her she liked to play with girls. The woman subsequently refused to go with her. The source added, “It’s funny because I had a couple of girlfriends tell me that they were approached by Christina too. My understanding was that Jordan wasn’t involved when she brought girls home, so maybe the divorce is because Jordan’s jealousy got the best of him.” Meanwhile, Aguilera is said to be taking her friendship with DJ Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan’s ex-girlfriend, to the next level. A source told us that the duo “have been inseparable” ever since Ronson went to Cabo with the singer. But don’t count on their new alleged relationship to be another big explosive drama just like Ronson had with Lohan. The source said, “Their relationship is different because Christina doesn’t create the kind of drama that Lindsay did.”
Lindsay Lohan has reportedly hired Britney Spears’ former manager. Lindsay-Lohan-has-reportedly-hired-Britney-Spears-former-manager Email this story Printable version. Larry Rudolph ‘ who was credited with turning around the fortunes of the pop princess following her public meltdown in 2007 ‘ has been employed by the ‘Machete’ actress in the hope of saving her career following her recent prison and rehab terms for violating the conditions of probation from a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence. However, despite the troubled actress telling friends she’s ready to return to work, her new manager has put her on ‘lockdown’ until she is ready to return to the spotlight. An insider explained to the New York Post newspaper: ‘She’s telling everyone she is more than ready for work and people should hire her now. She’s on lock down.’ Lindsay ‘ who spent 22 days of a 90-day court-ordered stint in rehab and completed just 13 days of her 90-day jail term last month – recently admitted the way she used to idolise other celebrities, such as Britney, was ‘really scary and sad’. She said: ‘So many people around me would say they cared for the wrong reasons. A lot of people were pulling from me, taking from me and not giving. I had a lot of people that were there for me for, you know, the party. ‘ would look up to those girls … the Britneys and whatever. And I would be like, I want to be like that.’
Lindsay Lohan could be released from rehab in the next 10 days. The actress’ attorney Shawn Chapman Holley is to attend a probation modification hearing on Wednesday (25.08.10) in front of Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden Fox to assess whether the star needs to continue receiving treatment at the UCLA Medical Center. Lindsay was ordered to spend 90 days in rehab and was sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation from a 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) conviction. The hearing is being held to discuss whether the 24-year-old star’s imposed rehab stint should be modified to reflect the opinions of her doctors who do not think she needs to be treated for the full 90 days. A source close to Lindsay told us: “She is ready to get out. Lindsay has had a lot of down time, and she is anxious to return to her life. Lindsay misses her family and friends tremendously. Lindsay simply wants her life back.” This week’s hearing is crucial because only Judge Fox can decide whether or not Lindsay is released from rehab early. To secure her release Holley could ask for the terms of her probation to be changed with one possible condition being that she undergoes random drug testing for 12 months.
UCLA Doctors Reportedly Believe Lindsay Lohan Was Wrongly Diagnosed. Lindsay Lohan’s previous diagnosis is incorrect, her doctors at UCLA apparently concluded. The troubled actress reportedly doesn’t suffer from drug or psychiatric problems, and is now up for a shorter rehab stay. Sources familiar with the treatment told our source that doctors determined Lohan isn’t an addict after she was “weaned off” all of her meds – Dilaudid, Ambien, Adderall, Zoloft, Trazodone and Nexium – and had no adverse reaction. She also had no withdrawal issues in the alcohol department. Lohan was apparently misdiagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in the past, which is why she started taking Adderall, though UCLA doctors say she doesn’t have ADHD. They also believe that she is not bipolar, but she suffers from a personality disorder that is common in society and sometimes partly the result of difficulties one encounters when growing up in Hollywood. The doctors reportedly recommend the maximum amount of time she should spend there is 30 days, followed by outpatient care. Meanwhile, addiction specialist Dr. Joe Haraszti, who is not connected with Lohan’s medical case, told the website that constantly taking Adderall when it’s not needed might have a negative effect on the actress. Those who take Adderall unnecessarily can experience similar effects as those who use cocaine or methamphetamine.
Lindsay Lohan has been released from prison. After spending 13 days behind bars, the troubled actress left the Lynwood, CA jail facility and is now in rehab. Lohan was reportedly due to enter Morningside Recovery rehab after Judge Marsha Revel chose the center for her despite the fact that it wasn’t recommended by court-appointed psychiatrists and other medial professionals. But according to our source, after they broke the story, Judge Revel changed her mind and ordered Lohan to enter UCLA Medical Center for her treatment. The 24-year-old controversial starlet is expected to spend three months at the center. It won’t be over for her after her rehab stint, though. Lohan, who entered jail on July 20 for violating her probation, will be subjected to random drug and alcohol testing until August 2011.
Lindsay Lohan To Complete Rehab In CA. Lindsay Lohan doesn’t need to go far for her next rehab date. The incarcerated actress is reportedly getting the court-ordered 90-day treatment in California right after she gets out of jail. According to our source close to the “Mean Girls” actress claim that the plan is for her to enter a rehab facility in the state so her people can keep close tabs on her progress. Although her estranged father Michael Lohan lobbied for her to enter a facility in Long Island, Lohan won’t need to go that far. Lohan, who is no stranger to entering rehabs, reportedly treated her 2007 visit to Cirque Lodge, a respected rehab facility in Utah, as a joke. That is exactly what her camp wanted to prevent. As to when she will be getting out of jail, although she hopes to get out this week, she is likely to do so or until she completes at least 2 weeks of her 90-day jail sentence
Lindsay Lohan will reportedly enter a rehabilitation clinic offering ‘holistic’ therapies. The 24-year-old actress is due to enter a treatment facility when she is released from prison as part of her sentence for breaching probation and her advisors are said to believe the Malibu Beach Recovery Center in California will be the perfect place for her to receive help for her alleged problem with prescription drugs. Addiction specialist Marty Brenner ‘ who is not connected to Lindsay ‘ explained the centre’s treatment plans to FoxNews.com. He said: ‘t’s based on holistic types of treatment ‘ things like yoga, meditation and focus on a healthy nutritious diet. ‘t isn’t a 12-step programme, but it is a place that will probably be very good for Lindsay. Right now, any place that’s going to help her detox and get off the prescription medications will be good for her.’ According to the facility’s website, Lindsay’s treatment would include a special diet ‘based on the finest traditions of French cuisine’ that bands white rice, white bread, potatoes, sugar and caffeine, and she would also be asked to take a series of ‘bio-active supplements’ to complement an exercise programme. Although Lindsay is expected to serve less than two weeks of her 90-day jail sentence, experts believe she is unlikely to have her 90-day rehab stint cut short. Marty added: ‘n Lindsay’s case, a 30-day program just isn’t enough for her. The judge knows that, and won’t be letting her off a day early.’ The actress’ legal representative did not respond for comment. Lindsay was sentenced to 90 days in prison followed by a 90-day stint in rehab for violating the terms of probation set following her 2007 conviction for driving under the influence.
There are some relatives Lindsay Lohan wants to see and there are others she doesn’t let come to the Los Angeles County jail. While the actress’ mother and sister visited Lohan on Wednesday as she served her 90 days in the sheriff’s Lynwood jail, her father, Michael Lohan, isn’t welcome and has been denied access to her. “Inmates only see people they want to see. If a person doesn’t want to see an individual, they are denied access,” said Steve Whitmore, an L.A. County Sheriff’s Department spokesman. In a recent message on Twitter before her jailing, Lindsay Lohan stated, “I don’t want Michael Lohan Sr. anywhere near me he only brings negativity in my world.” Lohan, like all other inmates, is limited to a one-hour visit or two half-hour visits a week. On Day 2 of her stay at Century Regional Detention Facility, her mother Dina Lohan and younger sister Ali Lohan visited her. Jailers are quick to dismiss any suggestion of special treatment. The jailhouse meeting was off schedule from that of regular inmates because jail guards were concerned that having her family come during normal visiting hours could prove a danger to her, they say. Since she been locked up, Lohan has been listed as a keep-away inmate, who is essentially isolated from the general population of women in the jail. Jail sources say Lohan is keeping a cool head, sleeping a lot and cooperating with authorities.
