Jeff Goldblum Leaving “Criminal Intent” Jeff Goldblum is leaving USA’s “Law and Order: Criminal Intent” after two years on the show. The 57-year-old actor chose not to sign another deal with the network after his contract expires. According to our source, the move is non-negotiable, with the actor’s rep saying that his decision is final. There’ no bad blood between him and the network, though. He just decided to exit “due to the uncertainty” surrounding the crime drama’s future. Goldblum joined the show during its eighth season when Chris Noth left. He has played Det. Zach Nichols over the past two years. But the cable channel is still mum on whether the show will reach its tenth season. The ninth season aired its finale last month. The thesp will next be seen in the comedy “Morning Glory” alongside Harrison Ford, Diane Keaton, Patrick Wilson, and Rachel McAdams. He will also appear in the romantic comedy “The Switch” with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman.
Lindsay Lohan Cropped Out Of “Mean Girls” Nintendo DS Cover. Perhaps the most recognizable film in Lindsay Lohan’s not-so impressive film career is the 2004 feature “Mean Girls,” where she supposedly held the top billing. So leaving her out of the cover of its Nintendo DS game may be a little mean. While the entire blogosphere is amazed that the film has been given a video game adaptation, what everyone is really talking about is how the makers cropped the frequent tabloid fodder out of the cover. Why can’t she even appear on the game box of the film where she starred in? Is it because the 40-year-old-looking actress, who is actually just 23, is not considered a good model for kids? Not that she has given any reasons for parents to buy a game with her picture on it for their kids. The ex-actress is frequently seen looking worse for wear every night while perpetually insisting she is healthy. The once cute and promising child actress is now deemed unemployable. Her alleged poor working habit turns off prospective employers, rendering her out of work for a long time now. The “Mean Girls” Nintendo DS game cover features Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, and Rachel McAdams. On the original movie poster, Lohan stood alone a few steps away from them.
The game is expected to be released this week.
