Paris Hilton’s reality show “The World According to Paris” is airing its finale tonight, but she didn’t wait for the finale of a recent interview with ABC News before she made her exit.
ABC News anchor Dan Harris sat down with the star at her Hollywood home. But when the questions started to lean towards implying that she’s a has-been, she didn’t just dodge the questions. She down right got out of there.
Harris asked if she worries about other socialites like former friend Kim Kardashian overshadowing her, she replied, “No.” When asked if she was concerned about the show’s low ratings, she again answered, “No.”
But the next question was Harris’ third strike. “Do you ever worry about your moment having passed?” Harris asked Hilton during the interview.
She then shot a look to her publicist.
”You want to wrap up?” Harris asked HIlton, who then got up out of her chair and left the room.
On Good Morning America Wednesday, Harris described having a heated conversation from Hilton and her publicist before she would resume speaking with him.
”I’ve been in this business for 15 years now, so it’s been a very long time,” Hilton said once she returned. “Just like any other business person or someone in the industry, it’s always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects.”
Paris Hiton’s stalker was arrested outside of Hilton’s Malibu home early Monday.
James Rainford was arrested by police as Hilton looked and watched on from her balcony.
Rainford was previously on probation over an incident at one of the Hilton’s homes last October.
Rainford was sentenced to 227 days in prison in late April for allegedly smacking Hilton’s then-boyfriend Cy Waits.
Hilton was seen taking photos of her stalker being arrested by police.
The arrest comes less than a week after Nathan Parada was sentenced to two years in prison for attempting to burglarize Hilton.
Although their relationship is profiled on Paris Hilton’s new show “The World According to Paris,” Paris Hilton and boyfriend Cy Waits have called it quits.
Hilton began dating Vegas nightclub owner Waits last year, but she revealed the news if their breakup to George Lopez during an episode of “Lopez Tonight.”
“We’re not together anymore. I love him and we remain really good friends,” she said. “I feel like the relationship ran its course and we’ll see what happens.”
“The World According to Paris,” which airs on Oxygen, shows the ups and downs of Hilton and Waits relationship. One argument even ends in a slap.
Hilton’s rep, Dawn Miller, confirmed that they ended their relationship. “It was a joint and amicable decision. They both have respect and care for one another and ask for you to please respect their privacy.”
Paris Hilton isn’t just getting ready to return to television with the premiere of her new Oxygen series, “The World According to Paris.” She’s also been working on new music, which she says has much more of a dance sound.
Hilton has steadily been working on the follow-up to 2006’s “Paris,” which entered the top 10 on Billboard’s album chart and yielded the #1 dance single “Stars Are Blind,” for years and she says it’ll be out soon.
“I have a recording studio in my house so anytime I have free time, I’m always in the studio writing and working,” Paris Hilton told CNS. “I’ve been working on this album for a really long time so I want it to be perfect.”
Her debut album featured elements of pop, dance, reggae, and even disco, but Hilton says her new album is going to be even more club-ready than the first.
She even named one artist she’d like to collaborate with: David Guetta, the hitmaker behind #1 hits from The Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Rowland, and Flo Rida.
“I recently changed the direction of the album. It was more pop before but now I’m getting rid of a lot of the songs and I’m going into a different direction, which is house music,” Hilton said. “It’s going to be a lot more dance and club. It should be out really soon.”
Out even sooner is her new show, “The World According to Paris,” which premieres on Oxygen Wednesday night at 10/9c.
Paris Hilton denies she’s the worst driver ever. The socialite claims that she wasn’t the driver that almost ran over “Fairly Legal” actress Sarah Shahi.
Last week, Shahi angrily tweeted about her alleged encounter with Hilton, who was at the driver’s seat when she almost hit Shahi after running a stop sign.
She tweetedL “Paris Hilton – worst driver ever. Almost hit me, then ran a stop sign. what if there was a kid around that corner, you dumb b****… horrible excuse for a human being… What an irresponsible person… What a lame existence…”
“One more thing blonde piece of s*** – you’re not an elitist just because you have money. You should apologize… To humanity. nowi’mdone. [sic]”
But Hilton claims she wasn’t even driving that day, adding Shahi probably saw an impersonator.
She told Mario Lopez during an interview with “Extra,” “I was shocked when I read that, too. First of all, I wasn’t even driving that day. I just came back from Vegas with my boyfriend – and we were home relaxing. I hadn’t even been in the car that day. I literally came with a driver from the airport went to my house.”
“Then later on I read that, I’m like ‘Dude, I wasn’t even driving,’ so I don’t know. Maybe it was some other blonde girl who looked like me.”
“There’s a lot of Paris Hilton lookalikes who do it for a living. They’re always doing things and I’m getting blamed for it. So this could be another incident like that.”
Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Reportedly Working On Music Together. While the rumors between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were originally romantic, the spotlight has now turned to the two stars making music together. Kim and Kanye were both spotted at a recording studio in Culver City, CA. But when she took to Twitter, she wasn’t able to say much about what exactly she was working on. “OMG u guys have no idea what I’m doing today! You are gonna DIE!!!! OMGGGG I’m nervous!!!!!!” she tweeted that day. Kim is reportedly at work on an album and has already hit the studio with The-Dream, who produced hits for Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, and Kardashian’s pal Ciara. “Its going down in here!!! Will twitpic soon! I’m turning it ooooonnnn!!!!” she added later in the day. Whatever is going down, it’ll probably pop up on her new reality show, “Kourtney & Kim Take New York.” The new spin-off will feature appearances by Kanye as well as footage of Kim in the recording studio with The-Dream. Let’s see how well Kim’s music career will fare. Her former friend and fellow reality star Paris Hilton earned a top 10 album with “Paris” and two #1 dance singles, “Turn It Up” and “Stars Are Blind.”
Producer of movie allegedly about Lindsay Lohan denies connection. The film that has been reported to be based about Lindsay Lohan’s life is not about Lindsay Lohan, writer/producer Charles Casillo said. After learning that the troubled starlet’s family is planning a lawsuit over the film “Dogs in Pocketbooks,” Casillo is now saying that it’s never been about the Lindsay. Casillo previously told Page 6 that the film, starring model/heiress Lydia Hearst, will be about a “bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, prefatory paparazzi, off-the-wall stalkers and crazed media.” He also cleared that the film is “in no way mean-spirited towards Lindsay. It’s the kind of thing she has spoofed about herself in the past. It’s more of a satire about the crazy people about her.” And as expected, Lindsay’s mom Dina, who has a reputation of threatening lawsuit against anyone she thinks has mentioned her daughter’s name, is thinking of suing the producers of the film for using Lindsay’s likeness without her being compensated. Casillo is now saying that everything is “totally blown out of proportion.” He told our source that the character is a amalgam of troubled young starlets like Lindsay, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, as well as screen icons like Marilyn Monroe and Jean Harlow. “Dogs in Pocketbooks” will film in February.
Oxygen Confirms New Paris Hilton Reality Show. The rumored new Paris Hilton reality show has been confirmed by Oxygen Media. “The Untitled Paris Hilton Project” will once again star in a new docu-series that will focus on her life beyond the tabloid covers. The channel announced that the new show won’t be similar to “Simple Life,” the reality show she starred with Nicole Richie years ago. It promises to offer an “unprecedented voyeuristic glimpse into Paris’ real life.” Amy Introcaso-Davis, Senior VP of Original Programming and Development, said, “Paris is magnetic in such a way that viewers are naturally curious about her and think they know her based on what they see in the media.” “We’re looking to truly bring an all-encompassing look at her life, friends, family, and relationships, all that’s not represented every day. It’s going to be a fascinating journey.” Appearing in the new show are Paris’ friends Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s wife; Jennifer Rovero, a Playboy model who dated Fred Durst and who works full-time as Paris’ photographer; Allison Melnick, a major player in Los Angeles’ nightlife scene; and Kathy Hilton, Paris’ mom and the voice of reason who always tells her the truth. Paris will exec produce the show along with dad Rick Hilton and Jamie Freed. A. Smith & Co. founders Arthur Smith and Kent Weed will exec produce as well.
Paris Hilton To Plea Guilty In Cocaine Charge In Exchange For Probation. On August 27, Hilton was arrested on one felony count of cocaine possession after a small pack of cocaine fell out from her designer purse. The Las Vegas Review-Journal has obtained Hilton’s plea agreement, which states that the two consecutive six-month sentences in the Clark County Detention Center will be suspended and the socialite will be placed on a year-long probation. If she is arrested during her probation period, she will serve a full year in jail. The plea deal reads: “Defendant shall stay out of trouble. Defendant agrees that an arrest for any charge, excluding minor traffic violations for which a citation is issued, shall result in the immediate termination of her probation and the execution of the suspended sentences.” Hilton will also have to successfully complete a substance abuse program, pay a $2,000 fine, and complete 200 hours of community service, the nature and location of which shall be determined at a later time.
Paris Hilton Calls Police On Knife-Wielding Man. Paris Hilton has called the police Tuesday morning and claimed a knife-wielding man tried to break into her Los Angeles house. The heiress reported the incident and posted a photo of cops at her home on Twitter. She wrote: “So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes . Cops are here arresting him.” Hilton told police that the man was banging on the windows of her home, though he never actually entered the place. Law enforcement officials told our source that a man in his 40s was arrested at her home around 6:30 a.m. He was taken to a local jail. Sources said Hilton saw the man on her security cameras and called the cops ASAP. The man was considered “armed and dangerous.” It’s still unclear if the man had targeted her or if it was a random incident.
