Luke Perry, Jason Priestley Reunite For TV Film “Goodnight For Justice”. They may have ruled out appearing on the new “90210,” but Luke Perry and Jason Priestley still want to work with each other. The “Beverly Hills, 90210″ co-stars have reunited in the making of the Hallmark Movie Channel Original Film “Goodnight for Justice.” The TV movie has been executive produced by Perry and directed by Priestley. It stars Perry as Judge John Goodnight, a Circuit Judge who “renders justice with a perfect persuasion of eloquence and deadly aim.” The character, created by Perry himself, is hell-bent to prosecute the outlaw who killed his parents and a judge when he was a child. Priestley directs from a script by Neal and Tippi Dobrofsky. “Goodnight for Justice” will premiere on the network on January 29

Jason Priestley will host the 2010 International Emmy Awards. Simon Cowell is to receive a special prize at this year’s 38th International Emmy Awards. The music mogul will be presented with the International Emmy Founders Award for his work on various TV talent shows, including ‘American Idol’ and ‘America’s Got Talent’. Other nominees include Helena Bonham Carter who has been nominated in the Best Performance By An Actress category for her portrayal of children’s author Enid Blyton in the biopic ‘Enid’, while Bob Hoskins is up for Best Performance By An Actor for his role as a reformed alcoholic in ‘The Street’. Nominations span 15 countries – Argentina, Brazil, Denmark, Germany, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, The Philippines, The Netherlands and the UK ‘ and the various prizes recognise excellence by individual stars and specific TV programming such as documentaries, comedy shows and drama series. ‘Saturday Night Live’ creator Lorne Michaels ‘ who helped launch the careers of stars such as Tina Fey and Will Ferrell on the US comedy sketch show ‘ is to be presented with the 2010 International Emmy Directorate Award. Bruce Paisner, President of The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, said: “We congratulate the 2010 nominees for their outstanding achievements as their programmes and performances enter into television history.’ Former ‘Beverly Hills, 90210′ star Jason Priestley will host the ceremony in New York on November 22.

Original “90210″ Stars Luke Perry And Jason Priestley Reunite For Western TV Movie. The original “Beverly Hills, 90210″ heartthrobs Luke Perry and Jason Priestley are reuniting in a new Western TV flick. The actors will be working together for the Hallmark Movie Channel film “Goodnight for Justice” next year. Perry will exec produce and star on the film, while Priestley will direct the project based on the material developed by Perry. The film will center on a boy in the American Old West who witnesses an act of murderous violence that claims the lives of his parents and an influential public official. The boy frows up to be a judge hell-bent on justice.   eOne Television executive producer Ira Pincus says, “We are thrilled to be bringing this exciting Western to life for Hallmark Movie Channel. Luke has been a great partner from scratch, extremely passionate about this film, and Jason brings a seasoned perspective to the project.”  “Goodnight for Justice” kicks off production in Vancouver, B.C. on August 4.
