Jennifer Aniston doesn’t want to share the spotlight, according to publicity-seeker Heidi Montag. “The Hills” villianess absurdly claims that the A-list star banned her from walking the red carpet premiere of her film “Just Go With It,” where Heidi has a cameo role. The 24-year-old singer wannabe claims Jen found her “too polarizing” so the “Friends” star, who topbills the film with Adam Sandler, banned her to walk the red carpet premiere in New York on Tuesday.
She told Us Weekly, “I’m so upset. I was so excited! This is the first movie I’ve ever been in and I can’t walk the red carpet because Jennifer Aniston decided I was ‘too polarizing.’”
Heidi also claims that she designed her own dress for the event, and had made a deal with the producers not to go to other events beforehand.
“I’ve been such a huge Jennifer Aniston fan for my entire life and it’s just really upsetting that she would do this to me. She should know how hard it is to make a career for yourself and to have someone like Jennifer Aniston go out of her way to make things hard for me is disheartening.”
We can’t blame Jen if it’s indeed true. It’s really hard to be a fan of “The Hills.” But Heidi is not known for her honesty, and this reeks just like her numerous previous desperate attempts at getting publicity.
After all, it’s not easy to steal spotlight from Jen and their Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model co-star Brooklyn Decker.
And just as expected, a rep for Jen replied to the magazine, saying, “This is absolutely false. Jennifer has nothing to do with who was or was not invited.”
“Just Go With It” is released in theaters on Friday.
Top 10 Celebrities You Love to Hate for 2010. Celebrity It’s “Tik Tok” on the clock for most of the stars who were voted onto the list of the Top 10 Celebrities You Love to Hate for 2010. You are calling for the end of most of their 15 minutes of fame, with many voters even noted they didn’t love to hate them, they just do. You can’t win ‘em all, so after hundreds of votes, here’s the list of the Top 10 Celebrities You Love to Hate for 2010.
Top 10 Celebrities You Love to Hate for 2010
10. Kristen Stewart
The “Twilight” star stole the heart of Taylor Lautner on-screen and Robert Pattinson both on-and-off screen, which is enough to hate any girl. But it’s usually her stuttering, tic-filled acting that gets under people’s skin.
9. Heidi Montag
Ten plastic surgeries and plenty of financial woes later, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s 15 minutes are definitely up. The first four episodes of the final season of “The Hills” with their presence after Pratt threatened to kill a producer, showing just how out of touch with reality and reality television they are.
8. Miley Cyrus
The hot pants-wearing, bong-smoking Miley Cyrus isn’t the girl we all fell in love with, leading many to think maybe she should be tamed.
7. Mel Gibson
Should have been George Cloony.
Apparently Mel Gibson’s racist, misogynist, hate-filled recordings were somehow less offensive than Ke$ha’s music.
5. Kate Gosselin
Well, somebody’s buying the tabloids with her on the cover. Between her stints on “Dancing with the Stars,” the now Jon-less “Kate Plus 8” and every other media she tries to infiltrate, people would be much happier if everything was minus Kate.
4. The Palins
Apparently TLC isn’t getting the memo, offering the Palins their own reality series (they also air “Kate Plus 8”). After Bristol’s “Dancing with the Stars” stint caused death threats, Willow made news for homophobic comments on Facebook, and Sarah’s laughable Palinisms, they’ve pretty much ensured they won’t be the First Family of anything.
3. Lady Gaga
Somewhere between soaking her performances in blood and wearing that meat dress, Gaga turned off just about everyone who’s not a self-proclaimed “little monster.” She’ll get a chance at redemption next year when she’s born again as an artist with her new album “Born This Way.”
2. Perez Hilton
How Perez Hilton manages to maintain his position as one of Hollywood’s Most Hated is beyond us, but it’s a testament to his mass un-appeal. After promising Ellen DeGeneres to stop bullying this year, let’s see how people take to the softer side of Perez.
1. The Kardashians
The First Family of reality television has built an empire based on nothing. Besides hit show after hit show on E!, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe have been busy branding their names on everything from diet pills to a failed credit card. Kim even recently added an appearance to open new bathrooms near Times Square as part of her media tour. Our readers find the Kardashians overexposed, overpaid, and overdone, and they’re the #1 celebrities they love to hate for 2010. Are we all just jealous? There may be that, too.
Heidi Montag Has A Photoshoot In Costa Rica, Opens Up About Her Divorce. Heidi Montag had a bizarre, sad photo shoot last Friday. Montag paraded her bikini body around the ocean in Costa Rica last Friday, where she was also caught hiding out with Spencer Pratt. The two claimed they weren’t hanging out together, and were still going through with their divorce. During the photo shoot, she showed off her bandaged nose and explained that taping it is part of the healing process as she tries out wearing sunglasses again. Heidi’s been open about wanting to get her breast implants reduced, after revealing that her surgery was the reason for the breakup of her marriage, but she still flaunted her enhanced assets in a lacy pink two-piece. It wasn’t confirmed if she chose a pink bikini to symbolize their divorce being finalized on Valentine’s Day 2011.
Spencer Pratt To Write A Tell-All Book About Heidi Montag. Spencer Pratt is looking forward to milk money from his estranged wife. The spotlight-loving reality show villain will be writing a tell-all book about his relationship with Heidi Montag, his soon-to-be ex-wife, including details about her mother Darlene Egelhoff. Pratt’s divorce from Montag will reportedly be finalized on Valentine’s Day next year. And since being part of a hateable duo is his only claim to fame, he needed to find a way to extend his 15 minutes. Apparently, a tell-all memoir will do that.He told Us magazine, “My last book, ‘How to be Famous,’ didn’t make the New York Times bestseller list because it was in the self-help section. This one is going to be totally different. I’m not holding anything back.” Montag is now planning to file legal actions against Pratt. She told our source, “This is exactly why I left him. Right now I’m looking into my legal options.”
Heidi Montag Splits From Spencer Pratt, Starring In Upcoming Reality Show. Why does this sound like another publicity attempt? Heidi Montag has split from husband Spencer Pratt, saying she can’t take the bad press her “The Hills” co-star has been giving her. The press-loving couple have apparently been having trouble in the past couple of weeks. The last straw was when Pratt called the cops on her mother when she came to see her earlier this month.Montag’s rep told our source, “Heidi is looking to move out due to all the fake bad press that Spencer controls. She’s tired of it and is looking for a new place to focus on her acting career.” The wannabe pop star may really want a space from her husband, but the timing of her split and the announcement of her upcoming reality show is a bit curious. Montag will be renting a Malibu beach house with pal Jennifer Bunney, who told the website that they will be filming their show beginning in July. For all we know, this may be just one of Montag and Pratt’s attempts at staying relevant in the press. The MTV reality show “The Hills,” in which they both star in, is currently on its last season.
Lindsay Dee Lohan was born in New York City, on 2 July 1986, to Dina Lohan and Michael Lohan. She began her career at age three as a Ford model, and also made appearances in over sixty television commercials, including spots for The Gap, Pizza Hut, Wendy’s, and Jell-O (opposite Bill Cosby). Lohan made her acting debut in 1996 as the third actress to play Ali Fowler in the television drama “Another World” (1964). Shortly afterward, she was hand-picked by Oscar-nominated writer Nancy Meyers as estranged twin sisters in an adaptation by Walt Disney Pictures of a novel by Erich Kästner, which marked Meyers’ directorial debut. Lohan’s first feature film, The Parent Trap (1998), a remake of The Parent Trap (1961), was a modest commercial success, earning her widespread critical acclaim, and a Young Artist award for Best Leading Young Actress in a Feature Film, as well as Blockbuster Entertainment and YoungStar award nominations. After signing a three-movie contract with Disney, she returned to the small screen to star in the made-for-TV movies Life-Size (2000) (TV) (opposite Tyra Banks) and Get a Clue (2002) (TV) (opposite Bug Hall). She also appeared as Rose in the pilot episode of the short-lived comedy series “Bette” (2000), which starred Bette Midler. In June 2001, Lohan took a brief hiatus from acting. Her music career was launched over a year later, when Estefan Enterprises made a five-album production deal with her in September 2002, and she signed a recording contract with the reactivated Casablanca Records. But Lohan was not turning her back on her blossoming acting career. Just over a month previously, she had been cast opposite Jamie Lee Curtis for another Disney adaptation of a novel, this time of a fantasy comedy by Mary Rodgers. Freaky Friday (2003), a remake of Freaky Friday (1976), was a huge hit (generating over US$160 million in worldwide box office receipts), and critics were spellbound by delightful performances from Lohan and Curtis (who went on to receive a Golden Globe nomination for her work). In addition, Lohan won the 2004 MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Female, as well as a Saturn award nomination and another Young Artist award nomination. Lohan relocated permanently to Los Angeles, California, between projects, and moved into an apartment with fellow actress Raven-Symoné. She also dated pop star Aaron Carter for a short time. Lohan’s next acting role was the title character in the comedy Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004), a Disney adaptation of the novel by Dyan Sheldon. The film received scathing reviews upon its release and died a quick death at the box office, but even the harshest of critics were impressed by Lohan’s charming turn as aspiring actress Lola. Lohan’s next project, Mean Girls (2004) saw her reunite with Freaky Friday (2003) director Mark Waters. Inspired by a non-fiction book by Rosalind Wiseman and written by “Saturday Night Live” (1975) scribe Tina Fey, the high-school comedy-drama opened to glowing reviews, and grossed $86 million in the US. This earned her status as a bankable actress, and a salary of $7.5 million for the Donald Petrie romantic comedy Just My Luck (2006). One of the most sought-after young actresses in the industry, she starred in Bobby (2006) (opposite Demi Moore and Sharon Stone), the Disney fantasy adventure Herbie Fully Loaded (2005) (a pseudo-sequel to The Love Bug (1968)), and the critically acclaimed _A Prairie Home Companion (2005)_. On top of a thriving film career, Lohan also launched a music career, releasing her debut album, called “Speak,” which hit shelves in December 2004. In 2009, Lohan launched her own fashion line titled 6126, mainly focusing on the production of women’s leggings. By Spring, she launched a self-tanning spray line titled ‘Sevin Nyne’ and by the end of the year, Lohan became an artistic designer for fashion house Ungaro.
Lindsay continues her career in acting, having completed a role in the 2010 action film Machete (2010).
Heidi Montag has financed her debut album and covered the estimated $30,000 costs of her recent plastic surgery – and “The Hills” star told our source that her projects have left her broke. “I would say I’m broke,” she told Billy. “I have other things in the works. So hopefully, I won’t be broke for long, but you know, I’ve kind of always been that way.” Though reports over the years placed Heidi’s per-episode income from “The Hills” as high as $65,000 – not to mention her various appearance fees, Playboy cover and book with husband Spencer Pratt, “How To Be Famous” – the reality star said she’s “never really had money.” “I’ve never really had money so for me it’s not necessarily about money,” Heidi said. She previously told Entertainment Weekly that her album, “Superficial,” cost her “almost $2,000,000.” According to Nielsen SoundScan, it sold a disappointing 658 copies in its debut week. Still, she was able to invest in exhaustive plastic surgery – which she said Spencer thought she didn’t need. “He tried to stop me and he said, ‘What if you ruin everything? You’re so beautiful, you don’t need anything, you didn’t need surgery before,’” Heidi explained. “I just told him, you know, this is what I want to do. At the end of the day, this is my body. He cried when I went under, he was very upset.” But now, she said, Spencer doesn’t have to worry about further procedures – despite claims that she was “addicted” to plastic surgery. “I’ve had enough surgery for a while,” she told our source.
Reality star Spencer Pratt is worried that his wife Heidi Montag could be pregnant. In a recent episode of reality show The Hills, which follows the personal lives of several young people living in Los Angeles, Pratt talked to a pal about chances of Montag being pregnant. He revealed that he took her to Hollywood sushi hot spot Katsuya “for a little alcohol test,” but she declined to take even a sip. Pratt further said: “What if she’s already pregnant?” He added in that case their marriage is “game over.” The couple has been at loggerheads over the baby issue in the recent past. In fact, Pratt has been so against the idea that he even considered a vasectomy, reports US magazine. He had told MTV News in September: “I’m a baby. I’m not prepared. And I’m not sure the world wants a Spencer Pratt spawn.”
“Sex and the City” and “Gossip Girl” aside, TV’s not known for its high fashion quotient. But some of its least stylish players hail from the reality TV realm. True, these regular style offenders don’t have the advantage of working with a costume designer or stylist on set. But after searing our eyes with dozens of bejeweled Ed Hardy T-shirts (Jon Gosselin) and a shocking amount of cleavage (Heidi Montag) we find our empathy in short supply. Continue reading →
A brief appearance in Long Beach illustrates the uncomfortable position of the mother and reality TV star. The reality star mom from “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ was accused in court by her estranged husband of withholding $33,000 from their joint bank account. Then, in a taped segment on Monday’s episode of the show — which is ending its run next month in the wake of the couple’s increasingly nasty divorce — Kate entertained the idea of becoming a cartoon character. That same night, she was holed up at Maria Shriver’s Women’s Conference in Long Beach, signing books for fans as security officials Continue reading →
