Powderfinger announce previously unreleased track for Queensland Flood Benefit. n Powderfinger have announced a previously unreleased single to support ‘The Premier’s Flood Relief Appeal’ after the devastating floods that have ravaged their home state of Queensland. In a statement published on their official website, the band said that they would like to ‘politely decline’ calls for them to reform, saying they would like to stick to their word when they said November was their last show. ‘The Powderfinger bandroom at Newstead went under,’ the statement reads. ‘Along with many of our wonderful neighbours’ businesses and we thank everyone who came to lend a hand in the clean up.’ If you would like to donate, you can do so here.
