Warner Brothers Release Fringe And Top Gear Season 13 Blu-rays And DVDs. Warner Brothers has released two of its top shows’ seasons on Blu-ray and DVD: “Fringe” and “Top Gear.” Rolling Stone calls “Fringe” the “most exciting drama around right now.” Perhaps that’s because in the world of “Fringe,” there are alternate worlds, and a plethora of characters, including shape shifters, cryonic heads, and people who can turn into ashes at the snap of a finger. The science fiction drama that follows three FBI agents through a parallel reality that threatens to destroy reality as everyone knows it. Agents Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson, “Dawson’s Creek”), Walter Bishop (John Noble, “24” and “The Unit”) and Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv, “Mistresses”) deal with their mind-bending investigation as best as they can.
BAFTA-winning show “Top Gear” goes into its 13th season, and is also available on Blu-ray and DVD. The BBC series starring Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond has several follow-up experiences after their challenge in Vietnam, a 75-minute episode where they traveled 1,000 miles via motorcycle from Ho Chii Minh to Ha Long in eight days. In its 13th season, there will be more aggressive road tests on the latest models of cars and motorcycles, man vs. machine experiments, and even power tests on some of the world’s most exotic cars.
In addition, The Stig continues to put the rich and famous through their paces out on the test track in ‘The Star in the Reasonably Priced Car’. Celebrities include Michael Schumacher, Olympic Gold sprinter Usain Bolt, actress Sienna Miller (who has just passed her driving test), AC/DC’s singer Brian Johnson and ‘the biggest petrolhead in the world’ Jay Leno. Halloween is just a month away and Martha Stewart is getting ready to premiere her brand new primetime special dedicated to the holiday filled tips for the best tricks and treats Martha-style. “Tricking and Treating with Martha Stewart” will feature crafting everything from costumes, to home decorations, party ideas, and even recipes for Halloween-themed foods, including spiders viewers will want to have a bite of. Of course, Martha won’t be celebrating alone. She’s brought along a very special guest, Brendan Fraser of “The Mummy” films, to help. He’ll also be mummified by the domestic diva herself when they both prep an easy Mummy costume from scratch. “Halloween is one of my very, very favorite times of year,” Stewart told AHN earlier this month. She also said Fraser is “the perfect celebrity for Halloween and the stuff we do is just extraordinary and it’s going to be a smashing hit.” Martha’s one-hour primetime special, “Tricking and Treating with Martha Stewart,” premieres Sunday, October 10 at 9pm ET/PT, 8pmC on Hallmark Channel.

It’s been very eventful, a lot of adventures and misadventures. Guest stars and special crossover episodes are just some of the reasons to tune into Disney Channel and Disney XD. “Replay” and “Solo” singer Iyaz guest stars on an episode of “Hannah Montana Forever.” When Miley starts to doubt herself after a new song doesn’t get the best reaction from her label, Iyaz overhears it and asks to record it with her. “Hannah’s Gonna Get This” premieres Sunday, October 3rd at 8pm ET/PT on Disney Channel. Gregg Sulkin returns to “Wizards of Waverly Place” in a howling new episode, where Alex, Justin and Max (Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jake T. Austin) discover that Mason has been turned into a dog by rogue wizards. The special one-hour episode premieres Friday, October 1st at 8pm ET/PT on Disney Channel. “Sonny With a Chance” Tiffany Thornton guest stars as Doris Flores Gorgeous, an imaginary girlfriend for main hero Oscar, in an all-new episode of “Fish Hooks” which premieres Friday, October 1st at 9pm ET/PT on Disney Channel.
Also making the cross-over from one Disney Channel show to another is Disney XD’s “I’m In the Band,” which finds Iron Weasel on the SS Tipton during a special episode of “I’m In the Band” and “The Suite Life on Deck.” Titled “Weasels on Deck,” the episode premieres Monday, October 11th on Disney XD.
“30 Rock” star Jack McBrayer and Diedrich Bader return as Irving and Albert in “Doof Side of the Moon,” an all-new episode of “Phineas and Ferb” premiering October 8th on Disney Channel at 8:30pm ET/PT. “Sonny With a Chance” and “Zeke and Luther” are both sporting some major stars: Shaquille O’Neal and Tony Hawk. In the episode “So Random Halloween,” Shaq guest stars as himself along with up-and-coming recording artists All-Star Weekend in a new episode of “Sonny With a Chance,” premiering Sunday, October 17th at 8pm ET/PT on Disney Channel. Meanwhile, “Zeke and Luther” come face-to-face with their idol Tony Hawk in a special new episode, premiering Monday, October 25th at 8:30pm ET/PT on Disney XD.

Ash and Bloc Party guitarist bitten by lion. Russell Lissack has had to be rushed to hospital during a trip to South Africa after being bitten by the predator. Apparently Lissack was playing with a lion cub at an animal sanctuary when it attacked him. The guitarist has been touring South Africa with Ash playing gigs in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The animal reportedly drew blood leaving a deep wound we will bring more details as they arrive. It appears that Lissack was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated and have a tetanus booster but that was not the end of the drama. A spokesperson for the band told our source after being treated the hospital had to be sealed off after the deaths of two men from an unidentified virus in an unrelated incident. To add insult to injury on their return to the hotel the car the band were travelling in was involved in the band was involved in a crash but luckily no harm came to any passengers. The band releases the second of its two compilation CDs on October 11.
Glastonbury ticket registration draws to a close. Fans have until 9am Friday to register for Glastonbury Festival 2011 prior to tickets going on sale on 3rd October. The tickets for the 2011 festival will then go on sale on Sunday October 3 at 9am.
