Kelsey Grammer had to call his kids to greet him on Father’s Day. The soon-to-be divorced actor says he was hoping his estranged wife would have their kids call him but it turned out he was the one who called them. Kelsey, 55, addressed few rumors on his blog, including a report about Father’s Day, which, apparently, had been the tipping point in wife Camille’s filing for divorce. The TMZ rumor claims that the marriage started crumbling when Kelsey moved to New York, clearly loving his freedom more than his marriage.  The rumor claims that Camille saw Father’s Day as a tipping point when Kelsey didn’t call his kids – daughter Mason, 8, and son Jude, 5 – on that day. But the former “Frasier” star refuted the report, writing on his blog: “The truth is that I did call my kids that evening. Frankly, I was surprised that they did not call me in the morning but I was thousands of miles away and working that day so I didn’t give it a second thought.” “I had texted Camille that morning to wish her Dad a Happy Father’s Day. I hoped that might serve as a reminder.” “I called them to see how they were doing as I do almost every night at around the same time, 11PM my time – 8PM their time, just before they go to bed.” “… Perhaps it was foolish of me to expect a call on Father’s Day, but frankly I did.” Kelsey also addressed the rumor about being seen with a “dirty blonde” at an NYC restaurant, which turned out to be his daughter Spencer

Kelsey Grammer Tweets Divorce From 3rd Wife. Kelsey Grammer has confirmed his third divorce through Twitter. The “Frasier” star has announced that he and former Playboy model Camille Donatacci are divorcing after 13 years of marriage. Grammer’s wife filed the papers Thursday in a Los Angeles court. She cited irreconcilable differences on the papers, and is seeking primary physical custody of their 8-year-old daughter Mason and their 5-year-old son.  She also wants child and spousal support. The 55-year-old actor said in a series of Twitter messages: “Hello everyone thank you for ur support and Yes it’s TRUE Camille and I are Divorcing I ask u 2 respect our privacy in these difficult times “    “Had some bad news to deal with today. I am hoping that people will be respectful of our privacy during the divorce process. We have issued a statement asking that our children be respected as well. I would like to add that I know people will be tempted to say some mean things.” “I realize that it is human nature but I ask that you be particularly sensitive to the feelings of my wife. She has been a terrific partner for many years and should not be treated with any disrespect at this time. Things fell apart between us. That is all. She is still the mother of my children and any disparagement of her will only hurt the children.” “Camille did not want this but has made a very difficult decision and I respect her for it. I appreciate your kindness for all parties in this matter. Especially for her and the children.” This is the third failed marriage for Grammer. He was married to Doreen Alderman from 1982 to 1990 and to Leigh-Anne Csuhany from 1992 to 1993.
