Alec Baldwin booted from plane for refusing to quit cellphone game. Alec Baldwin was kicked off a flight in Los Angels for playing a game on his cellphone.
The “30 Rock” star was playing a game called “Words with Friends” while the plane idled at the gate on Tuesday.
Apparently, Baldwin loves the game so much he was willing to leave the plane for it. He later boarded another American Airline flight to New York.
The actor, an avid Twitter user, later tweeted, “flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing Word With Friends while we sat at the gate, not moving.”
He went on to vent that it just may be his last fight with American. Baldwin tweeted that the airline is “where Catholic gym teachers from the 1950′s find jobs as flight attendants.”
Citing customer privacy, American Airlines, currently undergoing bankruptcy proceedings, refused to comment.
The ‘Edge Of Glory’ hitmaker ‘ who is currently in Singapore as part of her ‘Monster’s Ball’ tour ‘ will join permanent judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy on the panel of the Fox dance competition.
Show boss Nigel ‘ also at the helm of ‘American Idol’ said: ‘Lady Gaga will give great advice on how to handle yourself, how to be creative with what you do, and how to be a fabulous performer.
‘Her help is going to be invaluable.’
This isn’t the first time the 25-year-old singer has appeared on a US reality show.
In May, Lady Gaga acted as a guest mentor on ‘American Idol’ and instructed the four finalists ‘ including eventual winner Scotty McCreery ‘ on how to prepare for the live shows, telling the hopefuls to embrace their ‘sexy’ sides and give the judges ‘a little drama’.

Lady Gaga has tearfully confessed on film that she thinks “people are trying to destroy her”. The 25-year-old singer broke down in a documentary extract posted online last night (24.04.11) and spoke of how much she fears criticism, admitting she feels like a “loser kid in high school.”
In the black and white YouTube clip, posted before she went on stage in New York’s Madison Square Garden for her Monster Ball tour, she sobbed: “I still sometimes feel like a loser. It’s crazy, ‘cos it’s like we’re at the Garden, but I still feel like a loser kid in high school.
‘Sometimes I still feel like people are trying to destroy me… I cannot be destroyed and I will not be destroyed. And you will never destroy the kingdom that is my fans.’
The outlandish ‘Judas’ hitmaker – who was recently criticised on micro-blogging website twitter for the bizarre artwork of her new album ‘Born This Way’ which depicts her morphing into a mutant motorcycle – went on to say she feels like she has to “fight” to remain a “superstar” for the sake of her young fans.
She said: ‘ just have to pick my s*** up. Pick myself up and tell myself I’m a superstar every morning just so I can get through this day.
‘ feel like I have to fight. I’m fighting for every kid that’s like me, that’s felt like I’ve felt and feels like I still feel.”
She added: ‘ just wanna be a queen but sometimes I just don’t feel like one. It’s not about being a winner for me anymore, you know. It’s about being a winner for them.’
The clip was filmed as part of documentary ‘Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden’ which will be aired next month.

Lady Gaga can’t remember her post-Grammys party because she was ‘drunky Gaga’. The singer scooped three accolades at the ceremony on Sunday night (13.02.11) and confessed she toasted her victories with several alcoholic drinks. When quizzed on how she celebrated her success on ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno’, she said: ‘ don’t remember very much, I know it was fun, I do remember being called drunky Gaga at some point.’ The eccentric pop superstar also revealed the ‘egg’ she was brought to the ceremony in and ‘hatched’ out of on stage was actually a vessel.
She explained: ‘Well Hussein Chalayan who designed it said, ‘Make sure you tell everyone it’s a vessel.’ I said. ‘OK I will.’ I was in there for three days, it was temperature controlled.’
The 24-year-old artist also sent her team into a panic just two days before her performance of ‘Born This Way’ at the Grammys because she decided to change everyone’s stage outfits.
She said: ‘ designed all the clothes for myself and for the dancers and two days before the performance I changed everything because I didn’t like the clothing. I felt so bad because the House of Gaga was up all night and red eyed and I was like, ‘I hate it. We have to change everything.’ And they were like, ‘OK.’
‘The problem was they looked like dancers in the outfits we had and I’m so close with everyone that’s in the House of Gaga, like Laurieann Gibson my choreographer, all the creatives and we’re all so close that I don’t want the band and the dancers to feel like the band and the dancers behind me because really the performance of ‘Born This Way’ is about all of them it’s about togetherness.’
