Taylor Swift has a new partner

taylor-swiftBest Buy’s @15 program is the new official “charitable partner” of Taylor Swift’s 2009 “Fearless” concert tour.  The top-selling U.S. artist of 2008, Swift has been adamant about helping causes close to her heart. Best Buy is helping provide that opportunity with their @15 program, which was started last year to “inspire teen-led social change.”  Essentially, the nonprofit organization provides scholarships to teens without the resources to potentially attend college.  “We’re thrilled that @15 is joining forces with Taylor Swift,” Best Buy CEO Brian Dunn said. “At its core, @15 is designed to empower and give teens a voice, and we believe Ms. Swift is one of the brightest, most inspiring teen voices right now.”  In addition, fifteen Best Buy stores in cities where Swift’s tour will visit will individually donate large batches of concert tickets and a guitar autographed by Swift to a regional, youth oriented charity.  http://www.at15.com
