The ad’s tagline is “Feel the Power.” Beyoncé Pulse comes in an upside-down chrome-and-blue bottle, neatly tucked into a holographic carton, inspired by Knowles’ fashion during stage performances. It features notes of pear blossom, peony, midnight blooming jasmine, Madagascar vanilla, and bluebird orchid.
The commercial for the fragrance was directed by Jake Nava, and features the instrumental of Knowles’ lead single “Run the World (Girls)” from her album 4. Photographer Lionel Gasperini photographed the scents printing advertisements.

The ‘Elevation’ group are headlining the festival this year for the first time ever – after having to pull out of its 40th anniversary in 2010 – and bassist Adam Clayton says they will be “sneaking in” some of the huge pyrotechnics from their 360 Degree world tour for the stage show.
He said: “It’s very un-Glastonbury to have a big production, but we will be sneaking a few things in through the back gate which will hopefully make the experience a little more like Glastonbury on steroids.
“We’re stretching the levels of what can be done. We hope to create a mind blowing experience that reacts well with all the other substances involved.”
The rocker also hinted the group’s set for the British festival will include hits from their celebrated 1991 album ‘Achtung Baby’ album, in honour of its 20th anniversary.
He added: “We want to go back to our 90s work that plays into a certain kind of psychedelia and do something tailored around that, from the Zoo TV to PopMart. This is the 20th anniversary of ‘Achtung Baby’ so there’s a nice connection there and we thought we should mark that.”

Tom Ford Ends Six-Year Break From The Womenswear World. Tom Ford took a six-year break from womenswear, but he’s announced his return. After showing his new womenswear collection in New York during fashion week in September, he said he will reveal the entire collection to the public. The spring 2011 collection was shown to several fashion editors and journalists in an intimate hotel. Ford managed to convince several of his high profile muses – Beyoncé Knowles, Lauren Hutton, Liya Kebede, Rinko Kikuchi, Stella Tennant, Amber Valletta, Natalia Vodianova, Karen Elson, Karlie Kloss, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Julianne Moore, amongst others – to model his new designs. The collection reportedly reminded several of the 100 editors and journalists of Ford’s best collections for Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent. “There’s a continuity from what I was doing at YSL at the end; that’s the customer,” Ford told Vogue. “It’s about individuality. Real clothes, real women. For a fashionable woman aged 25 to 75. That’s why I literally put many of my own muses in the show. I hear them say, ‘God, I can’t find that anywhere!’” Photos from the spring 2011 collection on his famous models can be seen on the Internet, which is something Ford doesn’t necessarily agree with. “I do not understand everyone’s need to see everything online the day after a show,” he said. “I don’t think it ultimately serves the customer, which is the whole point of my business—not to serve journalists or the fashion system.” In addition to the collection’s coverage in Vogue magazine, Ford will also guest edit and appear on the cover of French Vogue’s holiday issue in December.
