Kylie Minogue thanks Abba for the music.

kylie_minogue-rtvKylie Minogue stole the show at the BBC’s Abba tribute concert on Sunday with her only UK performance of 2009. The 41-year-old took to the stage towards the end of the three-hour event in London’s Hyde Park to sing the Swedish group’s 1980 hit Super Trouper.  She later returned to perform When All Is Said And Done with Abba songwriter Benny Andersson.  Minogue said it was “a dream come true” to appear on stage with the Scandinavian musician. Kylie Minogue to sing with Abba idol

Kylie MinoguertvKylie Minogue has announced that she will sing a live duet with ABBA legend Benny Andersson.  The Aussie pop star said she has been a fan of the Swedish group since she was a little girl, and admits she would sing their songs into her hairbrush and dream of life as a pop idol. Now she is set to share a stage with songwriter Andersson at a tribute concert to the Swedish four-piece in London next month (Sept09).
