While estranged wife Sandra Bullock is making her comeback on awards show, Jesse James is suing a web video streaming company. The former “Monster Garage” star has filed a lawsuit against Viewpartner Corporation for breach of contract among others. James and his aptly named company Payupsucker Productions claims Viewpartner never paid him for a signed deal in 2009. Payupsucker and Viewpartner signed a Sponsorship and Content Streaming Agreement, in which Viewpartner agreed to pay James’ company $155,000 for the sponsorship. But the amount was never paid. James is also claiming that in 2008, Viewpartner invaded his right of privacy when it used his name and likeness during an ad promotion of its products. Bullock’s estranged husband participated in the famed Baja 500 race and discovered that Viewpartner used footage of him in the sales presentation of their streaming video products, implying that he endorsed those products. James and Payupsucker is suing for breach of contract, fraudulent inducement to enter into contract, and unauthorized use of name and likeness. He is seeking $155,000 plus unspecified damages.
