Thousands of German fans have welcomed 2010 Eurovision Song Contest winner Lena Meyer-Landrut as she arrived at the airport of her hometown of Hannover. Meyer-Landrut, wearing jeans and flowers in her hair, waved to her fans and told them “you guys are crazy, go inside, it’s raining.” The 19-year-old high school student, who won Saturday’s song competition with the catchy pop song Satellite, was also welcomed by Lower Saxony’s state governor, Christian Wulff.  THE UK could be pulled out of next year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Brit viewers are so embarrassed with yet another dismal last place that they have demanded the BBC scraps our entry to save licence- payers’ cash. The Beeb coughs up a whopping £200,000 to the European Broadcasting Union every year to take part in the annual songfest. But critics have slammed the cost as a waste of money after 19-year-old Josh Dubovie was left trailing in Saturday’s show – the third time the UK has finished last in the past eight years. The failure comes despite the Beeb’s funding making us one of only four nations to get a bye to the final every year, along with Spain, France and Saturday’s winner Germany. Josh’s performance of cheesy pop song That Sounds Good To Me, written by Pete Waterman, 63, earned him a feeble 10 points – a whopping 236 behind pretty 19-year-old winner Lena Meyer Landrutt. BBC bosses have dismissed complaints that host Graham Norton, 47, said “f*** off, woman’’ on air during a clip showing a Bosnian girl kissing a dog. A spokesman said: “Having watched the clip back several times, he definitely says: ‘Back off, woman.’”
