Brad Paisley tour plots new ‘Saturday Night’ dates for 2010

Brad PaisleyCountry music star Brad Paisley is in the final stretch of his American Saturday Night Tour — at least for this year. With just a couple weeks left in the 2009 run, the acclaimed singer-songwriter has announced plans to relaunch the tour in 2010. The 19-date winter extension will hit U.S. cities from coast to coast, beginning with a January 7 gig at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX, and ending March 6 at the Coliseum in North Charleston, SC. Other highlights on the two-month calendar include performances on January 15 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA; January 22 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH; February 18 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA; and March 4 at Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, SC. In addition to Paisley’s headlining sets, the tour will also feature opening performances by Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore. Ticket prices and onsale dates have not yet been announced.  Paisley has just seven dates left on his current fall itinerary, backing the June 30 release of his latest studio album, “American Saturday Night.” The country musician’s next gig is set for October 15 at Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL, with final shows booked through October 24 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. The American Saturday Night Tour launched in early June and has enjoyed strings of sold-out performances across the U.S. during its nearly 50-date run. Additionally, more than 100,000 tickets were sold for Paisley’s final six West Coast gigs for the season, according to a statement on his official Web site.
